Amedeo

Amedeo must have been annoyed that his hypothesis was ignored for almost 50 years. Although Ampère formulated the same hypothesis independently, he is now credited with being the originator of this fundamental concept.

  • Avogadro’s Hypothesis

The hypothesis states that equal volumes of all gases at the same temperature pressure contain equal numbers of molecules. We now know that the number of molecules of gas in one mole is about 6.1 time 1023. His constant or number?

So who was he?

His full name was a mouthful!
